Summary
Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) construction staff and certain contractor employees are required to be trained in construction stormwater management. Despite this requirement, there are people who have successfully completed the standard classroom training but appear to lack the experience needed to perform effectively on construction projects. Experience-based additions to the standard training may help recent trainees to be more effective on construction projects. This project is piloting alternative training techniques and measuring their effectiveness through audits of site conditions and inspection reports.
