Technical and Customized Training | Center for Transportation Studies

CTS houses three technical assistance and education programs that provide training designed for specific audiences. We also offer customized training services.

Airport Technical Assistance Program (AirTAP)

AirTAP provides in-person and online training opportunities to Minnesota's public- and private-sector airport professionals. Events include regularly scheduled workshops and webinars and the annual Minnesota Airports Conference.

Truck-Weight Education Program

This program includes resources and training designed to reduce damage to public roads and highways from overweight vehicles by promoting voluntary compliance. In-person workshops are offered across the state each year in the spring and fall; on-site contract training is available by agency request. Workshops targeted to law enforcement and regulatory staff are offered periodically.
