About the Event

Mark your calendar for our annual conference! The event convenes researchers and practitioners from Minnesota and the Upper Midwest to highlight new learning, emerging ideas, and the latest innovations in transportation. Attendees will learn about research findings, implementation efforts, and engagement activities related to a variety of transportation topics.
Call for Presentations
If you have completed or participated in an innovative transportation-related research, implementation, or engagement activity, consider sharing your work in a presentation at the conference.
Please submit presentation abstracts and short biographies by April 25, 2025, for consideration. CTS will notify you by July 2025 whether or not your abstract has been accepted for presentation.
Abstracts should include a title, objective of research or study, methodology or approach, findings or results, potential applications, and policy implications. Panel sessions (75 minutes) may be submitted as one abstract; please list all participating speakers in the abstract submission form. Individual presentations (15 minutes) are limited to one speaker.
Who Should Attend
- Policymakers and practitioners from state, local, regional, and national government
- Private-sector consultants, shippers, carriers, and providers
- Faculty, staff, and students from the University of Minnesota and other educational institutions
Credit
Conference attendees will be eligible for Professional Development Hours (PDHs) and American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) certification maintenance credits.
