Summary
Phases 1 and 2 of the Tribal Pedestrian Safety Project were conducted in partnership with the contractor and provided data on pedestrian-vehicle interactions, facilitated the development of safety countermeasures, and strengthened relationships between the state and tribes. Phase 3 of this work is a priority supported by the Advisory Council for Tribal Transportation and will build on the previous phases to increase pedestrian safety on tribal lands in Minnesota.
