Toward Zero Deaths Conference

Project summary:

The purpose of the Toward Zero Deaths (TZD) annual conference is to bring together Minnesota's traffic safety stakeholders to provide the latest information on traffic safety initiatives and strategies and to provide training on traffic safety topics. The MnDOT Office of Traffic, Safety, and Technology, in cooperation with the Minnesota Department of Public Safety Office of Traffic Safety, seeks the support of the Center for Transportation Studies (CTS) to plan and carry out this two-day conference. CTS will employ its skills in conference planning, management, and outreach to deliver this event. CTS also coordinates program activities for the TZD effort such as managing the leadership and program teams, delivering the stakeholder breakfasts, and managing the working group. This program management work will allow CTS to bring the ideas discussed at these meetings and activities into the conference planning process.
