Mn/DOT's Program and Project Management Systems Training Development

Project Summary

From November 2006 to February 2007, the Center for Transportation Studies (CTS) hosted a variety of project management training events for the Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT) Office of Technical Support. As a result of this successful training, Mn/DOT asked CTS to coordinate the development of a training outline and framework for Mn/DOT's Program and Project Management System (PPMS). The project consisted of three tasks: 1) project management; 2) data collection of the current state of PPMS within Mn/DOT; and 3) developing a training outline and framework.
