Project summary:

The major purpose of this project is to prepare detailed recommendations to Mn/DOT Metro Division and Hennepin County for development or acquisition of simulation software to be used in devising optimal snow plow route plans and in determining optimal truck station locations. The recommendations will be based on a systematic analysis of the agencies needs and desiderata, and of currently available simulation software, and will include a benefit/cost analysis and time frame.
