2013-2014 Toward Zero Deaths Conference

Project summary:

The annual Toward Zero Deaths (TZD) conference brings together Minnesota's traffic safety stakeholders to provide the latest information on traffic safety initiatives and strategies and to provide training on traffic safety topics. The Minnesota Department of Transportation Office of Traffic, Safety, and Technology, in cooperation with the Minnesota Department of Public Safety's Office of Traffic Safety, has enlisted the support of the Center for Transportation Studies (CTS) to plan and carry out the two-day TZD Conference. CTS will apply its skills in conference planning, management, and outreach to deliver this workshop. CTS also coordinates program activities for the TZD effort, such as management of the leadership and program teams, delivery of the stakeholder breakfasts, and management of the working group. This program management work will allow CTS to tie the ideas discussed at these meetings and activities into the conference planning process.
