Thickness and Bond Detection at MnROAD using Ultrasonic Tomography

Principal Investigator(s):

Lev Khazanovich, Former Professor, Civil, Environmental and Geo-Engineering

Project summary:

For this research, measurements will be taken at several MnROAD test cells using an ultrasonic tomography device, MIRA. The testing factorial will be designed to characterize the variability in the as-built thickness of the concrete cells at MnROAD and to evaluate the bond condition of whitetopping in cells 60-63.
