National Cooperative Highway Research Program (NCHRP) 17-64 Guidance for the Implementation of the Towards Zero Deaths National Strategy on Highway Safety

Project summary:

The objective of this research is to develop a guidance document with related resources to advance the implementation of the TZD national strategy for use by the safety community. CTS is leading a research team of partners inside and outside the University to complete this project. The team conducted focus groups and interviews to understand successful TZD strategies and barriers to implementation, developed guidance documents to support states at all stages of TZD implementation, and designed webinars and a train-the-trainer workshop to disseminate this information.
