Project summary:
In this study, the source code of the FEDFAA pavement design software will be evaluated and the subroutines responsible for PCC/base interface modeling will be localized. Comprehensive flowcharts of the FEDFAA interface modeling will be developed and the robustness of the interface modeling will be evaluated. Special attention will be paid to the problem of separation of the PCC slab from the base layer.
