Context-Sensitive Solutions Advanced Flexibility in Design and Complete Streets, FY 14

Project summary:

Two Context Sensitive Solutions-related webinars with an emphasis on flexible and performance-based design will be developed and delivered by the Center for Transportation Studies (CTS) for a target audience of Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) staff participants, with topics for these webinars approved by MnDOT personnel.

One interactive two-and-a-half-day workshop on advanced flexibility in design will be delivered by CTS to a broad array of MnDOT staff and select stakeholders. Participant materials, presentation modules, video clips, and "hands-on" individual and small group exercises will be prepared for use during the workshop. An interactive two-day workshop on complete streets will be developed and delivered by CTS to a broad array of MnDOT staff and select stakeholders. The primary audience for the training sessions will be MnDOT planning and engineering staff involved with multimodal project planning and delivery. Similar to the other workshop, participant materials, presentation modules, previously developed video clips, and "hands-on" individual and small group exercises will be prepared for use during this workshop.
