About the Event

Please join CTS and our five councils for this annual all-councils meeting, which will explore topics related to CTS's 2025 theme of "Unpacking Freight: From Producers to Front Doors."

The interactive meeting will feature presentations on:

  • The launch of Google Public Sector and Google For Transportation. Google Public Sector is designed to use Google’s resources to support public goals, and Google For Transportation will use AI and other technologies to help save lives, connect communities, support sustainability, and transform the future of transportation.
  • Case studies from freight electrification and innovative last-mile technologies that aim to reduce vehicle-miles traveled.
  • A City of Minneapolis pilot project that's using digital infrastructure to improve curbside management on city streets. The project, funded by a SMART grant from the USDOT, is using smart sensor technology to gain insights into curb user behavior and patterns of curbside demand. One of the project's key goals is to better manage the first- and last-mile logistics challenges created by the rise in e-commerce.

All attendees will also be invited to engage with our speakers and each other through a conversation circle/fishbowl model discussion.
