MnPAVE-Rigid 2.0

Principal Investigator(s):

Lev Khazanovich, Former Professor, Civil, Environmental and Geo-Engineering

Co-Investigators:

  • Derek Tompkins, Former Researcher, Civil, Environmental and Geo-Engineering

Project summary:

The Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) has invested many resources into developing pavement design tools that rival or exceed those of other states. This work includes the development of MnPAVE Rigid for rigid pavements as a companion to MnPAVE for flexible pavements. The proposed work will further modify the recently developed MnPAVE Rigid software and design table. This will improve both the software and the database of the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) M-E pavement projects that form a basis for all the projects built in the State of Minnesota.
