Principal Investigator

  • Mary Vogel, Senior Research Fellow, Center for Changing Landscapes

Summary

Working with Mn/DOT, Metro Transit, the transit consultant, the State and Local Policy Project, the advisory committee, and selected communities along the corridor, this project explored opportunities to make the I-394 MnPASS corridor more transit-friendly by increasing access to the transit stops and enhancing transit stop design. Issues addressed included designing for transit-friendly development, creating pedestrian and bicycle access to the transit stops, park-and-ride lot design, and the transit stops themselves.
