James De Sota

James De Sota is the director of Program Development and Delivery at the Center for Transportation Studies. In this role, he leads the Program Development and Delivery team, which produces CTS's events and manages stakeholder engagement and student outreach programs.

De Sota joined CTS following 12 years at the University of Minnesota's Robert J. Jones Urban Research and Outreach-Engagement Center, most recently in the role of assistant executive director. Prior to that, he worked as a neighborhood coordinator for the Southeast Como Improvement Association and served in a number of positions at the intersection of research, education, and outreach—including a tour with the Peace Corps in West Africa.
