Assistant Director of Financial and Business Strategy

Daniel Peterson is the assistant director of finance and business strategy at the Center for Transportation Studies. In this role, Daniel supports the financial management, contract management, human resources, and Center operations areas in delivering high-quality service to Center staff and external clients. He also provides strategic input on contract budgets, the CTS annual budget, effort planning, and financial monitoring and reconciliation.
Before joining CTS in March 2022, Daniel spent six years with the College for Education and Human Development’s Financial Services Office at the University of Minnesota. He holds a bachelor’s degree in applied economics from the University of Minnesota.
