Registration is now available for the 2020 Freight and Logistics Symposium, scheduled to be held virtually on Friday, December 4, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. This annual event is designed to bring together members of the private sector and government to discuss current issues in the freight and logistics industry and to share public and private initiatives intended to strengthen the freight transportation system.
This year's symposium will focus on freight demand and capacity in the era of COVID-19. In the keynote presentation, Joe Mahon, regional outreach director at the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis, will discuss the regional economy, including prospects for recovery as well as short- and long-term risks. Following the keynote, a reaction panel will offer government and industry representatives the opportunity to share their perspectives on recovery and risks.
