Jeff Marr is the associate director for engineering and facilities at the St. Anthony Falls Laboratory (SAFL) at the University of Minnesota. In this role, Jeff oversees the applied research team at SAFL, which has ongoing work in the areas of urban stormwater, hydraulic modeling, wind and water power, river engineer/restoration, and technology development for field monitoring. His personal research interests include water hydraulics, river engineer and river restoration, sediment transport dynamics, and wind engineering.
Marr received his BS and MS in civil engineering from the University of Minnesota in 1996 and 1999, respectively. Currently, he is serving as the associate director of the Eolos Wind Energy Research Consortium, a newly formed wind research center at the University of Minnesota. Marr is also a licensed professional engineer in the state of Minnesota.
