Tom Vanderbilt, author of the New York Times best seller Traffic: Why We Drive the Way We Do (and What It Says About Us), gave the CTS Spring Luncheon presentation as part of the 20th Annual CTS Transportation Research Conference. The Access to Destinations Study was also featured during an opening plenary session. The conference, which acts as a forum for researchers and practitioners from Minnesota and the Upper Midwest to share their research findings in a variety of transportation-related areas, was held May 19 and 20 at a new location, the Sheraton Hotel in Bloomington, Minnesota.
This international conference, held June 15-16 and hosted by CTS at the University of Minnesota, brought together researchers, practitioners, and policymakers interested in questions of transport economics. More
