Community transportation offers options for persons who cannot drive or who lack access to vehicles due to limited incomes, language and cultural barriers, advancing age, physical disabilities, or other factors.
The Center for Transportation Studies and Hennepin County, with the support of the Federal Transit Administration, have joined together to promote innovations in community transportation through this Web site. The site, sponsored and supported by CTS and Hennepin County, serves as a clearinghouse for information on research and developments in transportation services for communities in need.
