Refining Methods for Calculating Non-Auto Travel TimesMonday,
November 13, 2006 Carlson School of Management Building, Room L-118 This presentation will discuss project aims to generate and refine methodologies for calculating non-auto (transit, bicycle, walking) travel times between origins and destinations with the Minneapolis-Saint Paul metropolitan area. When married with detailed measures of land use activity, these derived travel times can be used as input parameters to calculate the accessibility to destinations within the metropolitan area using differing modes of transportation. Hear Professor Krizek explain methodologies and initial findings at this workshop.
