In 2008, the Minnesota Legislature passed into law Chapter 287, Article 1, Section 118: "Study of Transportation Long-Range Solutions." To develop a response to the legislation, the Minnesota Department of Transportation is contracting with the Center for Transportation Studies to host and deliver a day-long symposium that will invite up to 200 participants from state agencies and key stakeholders to discuss and present Minnesota's current and long-range transportation needs, as well as solutions to those needs. An outcome for the project will be a written proceedings summarizing the results of the symposium.
