Project Summary:

This proposal is to supplement the MnDOT GIS-based model of archaeological site prediction (Mn/Model). Early sites are not well-predicted by the current model, especially in northeastern Minnesota. Data generated by the proposal would aid regional transportation planners and engineers in developing transportation routes. The proposal directly addresses section 7.2 (Geographic Information Systems) of the ITS Focus Group Workshop (9-9-98).
