Mn/ROAD Data Analysis and Review of Low-Volume Road Pavement Design

Project Summary:
This project would support the sabbatical activities of David E. Newcomb from September 16,1997 through September 15, 1998. During this time, Newcomb will work on endeavors of interest to Mn/DOT including the following: 1.Assisting Mn/ROAD researchers in the analysis of data. 2.Assisting Mn/DOT with the development of procedures for forensic study of failed pavements. 3.Assisting in the planning of the next phase of Mn/ROAD research.4.Investigating the practice of low volume road design in Minnesota.5.Assisting Mn/DOT in the implementation of Superpave.
