Project Summary:
This project will complete and publish the research conducted in Phase I of the History of Minnesota Highways project. The final publication will focus on the development of the Minnesota road and highway system found in historical records, photos, and interviews that were compiled into chapters during Phase I. Phase II will focus on editing and formatting the manuscript to create a concise, cohesive, comprehensible book highlighting the development of the Minnesota road system titled "From Footpaths to Freeways".
