  • Robert Johns, Former Director, Center for Transportation Studies

Project Summary:

Regional growth and development patterns have a broad impact on citizens; their environment, transportation, economy, and overall quality of life are all affected. The goal of this project is to ensure this impact is positive by promoting sustainable development. Researchers will work with the McKnight Foundation to assess a set of policy goals that are designed to promote sustainable development. The study team will then identify reliable data sources and develop a method for measuring regional performance. The team will also propose a plan for analyzing the success of future developments. Regional planning professionals will provide input and guidance to the team throughout the duration of the project.
