Summer Institute addresses themes, strategies for rural safety center
Three dozen leading state and national transportation officials, researchers, policymakers, and professionals joined U.S. Rep. James L. Oberstar in Duluth on July 24 and 25 to develop strategies for improving rural safety.
Braun Chair reaches fundraising goal;
David Levinson named inaugural chair
The three-year fundraising campaign for the Richard P. Braun CTS Chair in Transportation Engineering has reached its goal of $500,000 in private and industry support; the selection committee for the Braun CTS Chair was unanimous in recommending that Associate Professor David Levinson be appointed the inaugural chair.
