WTS presents awards

Laurie McGinnis

The Minnesota chapter of Women's Transportation Seminar (WTS) presented the following awards at its May meeting:

• CTS associate director Laurie McGinnis was honored with the Member of the Year award.
• Kristi Michelson of St. Cloud State University earned this year's chapter undergraduate scholarship. Michelson graduated this spring with a major in community development and public relations.
• Nancy Lueke, a graduate student at the Humphrey Institute, won the chapter graduate scholarship award. As a research assistant, Lueke was involved in a major project that explored ways to improve transportation services to disadvantaged populations.
