The Eno Transportation Foundation recently named Dan Herber, a joint degree student studying law and a graduate program in urban and regional planning, as a 2003 Eno Transportation Foundation Fellow. The award included a five-day visit to Washington, D.C., where he and 19 other fellows around the country met with top policymakers and transportation leaders.

This year, the conference focused on the reauthorization of TEA-21 and culminated in the fellows representing different transportation stakeholders before a mock congressional reauthorization committee.

The Eno Foundation is a private foundation dedicated to improving all modes of transportation. It was founded in 1921 by William Phelps Eno, a pioneer in the transportation field. The Foundation selects fellows through a highly competitive process based on their accomplishments, leadership skills, and intention to pursue a career in transportation. Transportation graduate students are nominated by their professors, with a limit of one nominee from each campus. Professor Kevin Krizek and CTS supported Herber's nomination.
