Marcus's CTS research projects

Alfred Marcus teaches and conducts research in strategic management, macroeconomics, business ethics, and business and the natural environment. He has been chair of the Carlson School's Strategic Management and Organization Department, Director of the Carlson School's Strategic Management Research Center, and a Visiting Professor at MIT's Sloan School of Management and at the Norwegian School of Management.

Marcus earned a Ph.D. from Harvard University and undergraduate and masters degrees from the University of Chicago. From 1975-76, he was a Research Consultant at National Academy of Sciences, Washington, D.C. He is the author or editor of eight books including Reinventing Environmental Regulation (with Donald Geffen and Ken Sexton). His articles have appeared in such journals as Academy of Management Journal, Strategic Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, and The Journal of Forecasting.
