Creaser's CTS research projects
Janet Creaser's work examines the role of perception, cognition, aging, and behavior in typical driving situations. Issues explored in her research have included the use of infrastructure-based decision support systems to improve safety at rural intersections, the use of feedback and training on teen drivers' behavior, the impact of alcohol impairment on motorcycle riding performance, and the design of human-machine interfaces for in-vehicle technologies and displays.
Creaser earned her M.S. in Experimental Psychology (specialization in perception, aging & cognitive ergonomics) from the University of Calgary in 2004. She is a member of the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society.
