Bloom's CTS research projects
Paul Bloom's research is concentrated in the area of soil chemistry, minerology, and pollution; he is particularly interested in the interactions between organic soil materials and metallic elements.
Bloom recieved B.S. and M.A.T. degrees from the University of Montana, and a Ph.D. in Soil Chemistry from Cornell University. He is a Fellow of the Soil Science Society of America, and a member of the American Society of Agronomy, the American Chemical Society, the International Humic Substances Society (where he has served as Vice President and President) and Sigma Xi.
