Scholarships & Fellowships | CTS Student Awards | Student Organizations
CTS offers many forms of assistance to transportation students throughout their education, including scholarships, research grants, and other awards. CTS also provides many networking opportunities through connections to student organizations.

A number of scholarships and fellowships are available through the University of Minnesota and from professional organizations for students interested in a transportation-related field. More Information
CTS Student Awards
Each year, CTS presents the Matthew J. Huber Award for Excellence in Transportation Research and Education, and the ITS Institute awards the ITS Institute Outstanding Student of the Year. Each includes a cash award. In addition, CTS and the ITS Institute offer travel awards to reimburse selected students for actual expenses incurred traveling to conferences, such as the Transportation Research Board annual meeting in Washington, D.C.
