Business Logistics Management
Examines the flow of materials and information through the logistics
pipeline from a systems perspective. The strategic management
of areas such as supply chain relationships, LIS, distribution,
materials movement and storage, inventory levels, and trans-national
tactics are stressed.
Inventory, MRP, and CRP
Provides students the opportunity for an in-depth analysis of
inventory systems, material requirements planning (MRP), and capacity
requirements planning (CRP).
Materials Management Simulation
Simulation and analysis of different types of factory production
and distribution systems using Goldratt simulation and constraint
theory.
Operations Management
Processing of inputs into outputs consisting of goods and services;
includes plant and machine location and layout, materials handling,
work methods and simplification, manpower planning, inventory
control, quality control, maintenance, and operational control.
