How This Department Is Related to Transportation

Humphrey Institute is the primary place for graduate students at the University of Minnesota to obtain degrees in planning, policy, or public affairs. Urban and regional planning in particular is significantly focused on transportation planning. In addition, dual degrees with Humphrey Institute are available through the Department of Civil Engineering and the Department of Landscape Architecture, which is an excellent opportunity for students to focus on overlapping elements of transportation studies (click here for more info)
