Computer science and engineering is concerned with the study of the hardware, software, and theoretical aspects of high-speed computing devices and with the application of these devices to scientific, technological, and business problems. In the transportation field, computer scientists and engineers can apply their expertise to the high-tech needs of traffic engineering and data analysis, including ramp metering, traffic flow, information systems design, and more.
