Center for the Development of Technological Leadership (C.D.T.L.)

How This Department Is Related to Transportation

The Institute of Technology’s Center for the Development of Technological Leadership (C.D.T.L.) offers degrees relating to both transportation engineering and management. The Master of Science in Infrastructure Systems Engineering program, offered in partnership with the Department of Civil Engineering, focuses on developing management and engineering tools that address the issues in local, county, and state infrastructure. The program integrates the fields of pavement, structures, mechanics modeling, traffic engineering, transportation policy, and environmental issues, among others. In addition, C.D.T.L. offers the Management of Technology program, offered in collaboration with the Carlson School of Management. This program integrates the fields of technology and management, focusing on management in technology-based environments in industries such as transportation.
